Minecraft Earth, the latest AR mobile game from Microsoft in celebration of Minecraft’s tenth anniversary will be released this summer as a limited beta. The game playing basics will be a bit similar to PokemonGo as you have to use your phone camera to play, but instead of just throwing a pokeball and capturing Pikachu’s Minecraft Earth allows you to fish a lake, chop down trees or even build a castle in your own back yard.
Minecraft Earth also allows the users to group up with friends so you can battle, take challenges as your world grows as you fight for survival. How ever the new Minecraft Earth will not have loot boxes which makes wonder how Microsft plans to monetize the free-to-play game.
