ROG Masters Sri Lanka 2017, the local qualifier of the professional world-class eSports tournament ROG Masters 2017 took place last weekend (CS:GO on the 29th & DOTA 2 on the 30th) at Crescat Boulevard with a local prize pool of LKR 450,000 and it was two days of awesomeness and exiting moments to all top local CS:GO & DOTA 2 players. CS:GO Finals was won by Team ZeGg & Team PnX Zaku took 2nd place. Team Sara Kollo (The top DOTA 2 team in Sri Lanka) won the DOTA 2 finals & Team Infinity Gaming became 2nd.

Both the winning teams are qualified for the South Asian regional tournament and will be sponsored by ASUS for an all expense paid trip to Bangalore, India for the South Asia regional tournament. It’s up to our young local talents to show off some serious gaming skills in India and make their way to the ROG Masters 2017 Grand finals which will take place in November, with a grand prize pool of USD $500,000.

Representing Sri Lanka in an international eSport tournament like ROG Masters is a very big step for our local eSports talent and it’s time to wish good luck both Team ZaGg & Team Sara Kollo to win an international title to our country in the up coming ROG Masters South Asia regional tournament in India.
